Artist's Comments

This image was based on an idea I had that all fairy tales stem from a fact. Therefore Cthulhu in my mind, could have been just some forest witch with crazy hair that made noises too strange for the village children, and thus, the legend of Cthulhu was born.

I thought I'd be the bump in the night for the children to fear, and portray Cthulhu, as might have been seen so long ago by young H. P. Lovecraft
